Analytical Hypnotherapy

Mind-Body Approach

Analytical hypnotherapy is a mind-body approach to working with the unconscious part of your mind to aid in the relief of pain and uncomfortable somatic symptoms.

Working with your unconscious mind, in collaboration with your therapist, enables the root cause of a symptom to come to light. The advantage in working in this way is that you will be activating your own creative healing resources to resolve issues in your own way, and embarking on a deeper relationship with ‘Self’.

For many clients, it is the beginning of a sense of their own ‘inner landscape’, while for others it will come as a surprise that such innate healing ability is available.

What is Analytical Hypnotherapy used for?

Any somatic condition or issues that ‘have not gone away’ in which you sense that something lingers (even after traditional talk therapy) and is at the root of the issue.

The most common ailments are:
☯ Anxiety
☯ Depression
☯ Trauma
☯ Stress
☯ Grief
☯ Any persistent psycho-somatic condition.

Length of Therapy

In the first session I generally gather as much information about the symptom to build up a picture of how it is constructed and the best way to reduce its emotional affect. This helps me to recommend the number of sessions that may be required. For less complex issues 3 - 4 sessions may suffice while more complex cases usually require 8 - 12 sessions.
